The House

Trulli di Trappeto comprises 3 buildings that are connected. The Trulli, the old olive mill and former stall.

A typical trullo has a cylindrical base with a conical limestone-tiled roof. Though built without cement, their thick white-painted stone walls ensures coolness in the summer and warmth in the winter. I Trulli di Trappete has 9 trulli.

If you enter the trullo you will find a hall with 2 smaller bedrooms and one big shared bathroom, this bathroom can be used as well by guest with reduced mobility. From there you walk to the lovely dining and living area and the kitchen.

The trulli is the true heart of the house, from room to room you will see the cylindrical shapes of the trullo from the inside, which is spectacular to see and sleeping under a trullo is a true experience. From the trullo you can walk to the biggest master bedroom and bathroom at the ground floor , or if you walk up the stairs in the factory, you will find 3 spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.

In total you will find 6 bedrooms! The 2 smaller bedrooms are around 10m2, the other 4 vary from 15-40 m2

Most rooms have double beds that can be put separate as well.

The house is perfect for 2-3 families or a group of friends!

Bedrooms

TRULLO (ground floor)

If you dreamt of sleeping in a trullo, this is your chance. The Trullo bedrooms are opposite of each other and connected with a spacious hall and have the largest (shared) bathroom, which is as well for the less abled. It is a huge bathroom with 2 separate sinks, a shower, toilet and bidet. From the hallway you have direct access to the exterior terrace.

A Trullo bedroom with 1 single bed 90-200 cm and the possibility to add a foldable bed.

STABLE (ground floor)

Room 3

 The very impressive, vast master bedroom (40 m2) has its own entrance. It has a beautiful bathroom suite with walk-in shower, double sinks, toilet . It also features its own private patio garden for those who seek some privacy to soak up the sun or laze in the shade. On top of that there is a very generous desk area for those who need to get some work done.

There’s a double bed 160-200 cm

TRAPPETO (mill) at the first floor. Going up with stairs to the mill bedrooms.

The mill has it’s own kitchenette, seat area and with stairs going down towards the garden/pool area

 Room 4

The second master bedroom in the mill has an ensuite with walk-in shower, double sinks, toilet, bidet and gorgeous vintage bathtub overlooking the olive groves. This room features beautiful, wide steps leading up to its own private, panoramic roof terrace. From here you can gaze over the cones of the trulli to Locorotondo and the olive groves surrounding the property.

2 single beds 90-200 cm, that can be put together or separated.

Room 5

The middle bedroom of the mill with it’s beatutiful arch and arched cabinets has it’s own bathroom with sink, shower and toilet.
